EC responds as post claims 4 voter IDs issued to person who submitted 2 applications in UP

The UP Chief Electoral Officer's office rejected the "buy one, get one free" claim about voter ID cards, saying the voter had submitted four applications and received four EPICs. It acknowledged that generating multiple voter IDs through repeated applications remains a long-standing issue. It said deduplication is carried out periodically and urged the user to correct or delete the post.
