EC reverses transfer of Bengal officers after Mamata's objection

The Election Commission reversed transfers of two senior police officers in West Bengal after ordering movement of 15 IPS officers following poll date announcements. It also put on hold transfers of three others. The decision came after CM Mamata Banerjee wrote to Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, alleging the body crossed constitutional and decency limits in the state recently.
