EC to give one-time honorarium of ₹6,000 to BLOs engaged in SIR

The Election Commission (EC) announced a one-time honorarium of ₹6,000 to Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and BLO Supervisors involved in the SIR of electoral rolls. The honorarium is being given "considering the volume and nature of the work involved in SIR," EC said. EC had announced the conduct of SIR Phase-III in 16 states and three Union Territories in May.
