EC to launch special voter enrolment drive in UP on Nov 12

The Election Commission (EC) will launch a special voter enrolment drive in Uttar Pradesh from November 12, focusing on women and first-time voters. The campaign aims to identify eligible citizens missing from electoral rolls ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. It will also involve educational institutions in identifying eligible young voters, particularly those in the 18-19 age group.
