ECI clarifies after hundreds of VVPAT slips seen on road ahead of counting in West Bengal

The ECI issued a clarification after a video showing hundreds of VVPAT slips lying on a road in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district surfaced hours before vote counting. ECI said the slips are related to mock poll done before poll day and are not related to the actual poll conducted. Further, the ECI has initiated a detailed inquiry.
