ECI denies report of internal rift over SIR, says 'Was unanimously approved by 3 commissioners'

Rejecting report of an internal rift, the ECI said its key decisions on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls had been taken with the "unanimous approval" of all three commissioners. This comes after a report claimed Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi objected to several SIR-related orders. CEC Gyanesh Kumar held a meeting with them on Saturday.
