ECI removes SIR declaration from online Form 6, makes it separate form

The Election Commission has removed the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) declaration from the online Form 6, application form for new voters, on its ECINET portal and made it a separate form. The declaration asked new voter applicants whether their names or those of their parents or grandparents appeared in an earlier SIR electoral roll. Applicants couldn't proceed without answering it.
