ED arrests SDPI operative Wahidur Rahman in Tamil Nadu

ED arrested Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) operative Wahidur Rahman Jainullabudeen in Coimbatore on Thursday, officials said. Rahman was arrested in relation to a money laundering case against SDPI, which is allegedly the political outfit of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI). ED alleged SDPI was a recipient, beneficiary and user of funds which were raised by PFI.
