ED attaches ₹219 crore assets in 'Fairplay' betting portal case

Enforcement Directorate attached fresh assets worth around ₹219 crore in a money laundering case against 'Fairplay', a website that allegedly indulged in online betting on 2023 Lok Sabha election results and illegal broadcast of IPL cricket matches. The agency earlier attached properties worth over ₹100 crore in the case. The attached assets include land plots, demat account holdings and more.
