ED raids premises linked to Poddar, ex-Kolkata DCP Biswas in land-grabbing case

Enforcement Directorate conducted fresh searches in West Bengal in a money laundering probe linked to arrested ex-Kolkata Police Deputy Commissioner Shantanu Biswas and alleged criminal Biswajit Poddar. Raids were carried out at premises linked to Biswas’ nephew and a Kolkata Police Sub Inspector. Biswas was arrested in a case linked to an alleged extortion and land-grabbing racket run by Poddar.
