Ed-tech firm ordered to pay ₹50,000 over refund dispute

An ed-tech company has been ordered to refund ₹40,000 and pay ₹5,000 each as compensation and litigation costs to a consumer over a course refund dispute within 45 days. The complainant attended one class of a cybersecurity course before seeking a refund, alleging the training was substandard. The company allegedly failed to process the refund within 21 days.
