ED to file chargesheet against Choksi's son; fugitive tag likely

The ED is preparing to file a prosecution complaint against Rohan Choksi, son of fugitive diamond trader Mehul Choksi, in connection with money laundering linked to Punjab National Bank fraud case. This will mark the first formal legal action against him since investigations began in 2018. ED is also expected to initiate proceedings to declare Rohan a Fugitive Economic Offender.
