Edtech firm Coursera Co-founder raises $175 million AI fund

Online education firm Coursera's Co-founder Andrew Ng has raised $175 million artificial intelligence (AI) fund. It is backed by Japan's SoftBank and venture capital firms including Sequoia Capital and Greylock Partners, Ng said in a blog post. Ng, who previously worked at Baidu, has launched AI projects, Deeplearning.ai course and Landing.ai aiming to bring AI to manufacturing companies.
