Educate Girls becomes 1st Indian body to win Ramon Magsaysay Award

'Educate Girls', an Indian non-profit dedicated to educating out-of-school girls in remote villages, has been named a 2025 Ramon Magsaysay Award winner, the foundation announced on Sunday. Making history, it is the first Indian organisation to receive the honour. "This award is a collective win. It belongs to everyone who has stood up for girls’ education," the NGO said.
