Efforts underway for early repatriation: Govt after Indian sailor dies off Oman coast

Indian Embassy in Oman said that it remains in close touch with family members of Indian sailor Nishanth Uirthanathan, who lost his life due to medical complication off Oman coast two days ago. "Efforts are underway to facilitate the earliest possible...repatriation of his mortal remains," it added. The crew is using cold water bottles to slow decomposition, seamen's union said.
