Eggs sold in UP to be stamped with production, expiry dates from today

According to a new food-safety rule announced by Uttar Pradesh government, from April 1, every egg sold has to be stamped with date of production and the date of expiry. This order spills to eggs produced, transported and sold within UP. Eggs will be considered as "not fit for consumption" and will then be destroyed if there’s no stamp.
