Egypt buys 30 more Rafale jets from France in $4.8 billion deal

Egypt will buy 30 more Rafale fighter jets from France in a 4 billion euro ($4.8 billion) deal, French Defence Minister Florence Parly said on Tuesday. The Egyptian military said that the purchase would be financed with a 10-year French loan. Egypt had purchased 24 Rafale jets in 2015, making it the first overseas buyer of France's delta-winged warplane.
