Egypt denied direct flight from Canada to Seattle ahead of their match vs Iran

Ahead of their final FIFA World Cup 2026 group-stage match against Iran in Seattle, the Egyptian team's plan to fly directly from Canada's Vancouver to Seattle was denied by local security officials, Egypt manager Hossam Hassan said. Egypt will now return to their training base in Spokane, which is around 450 km east of Seattle, the Daily Mail reported.
