Egypt extend head coach Hassan's contract till 2030 after FIFA WC exit

The Egyptian Football Association on Wednesday approved a contract extension for head coach Hossam Hassan after Egypt were knocked out by Argentina in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 16. The 59-year-old was appointed in February 2024 and led Egypt to the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 semi-finals. Local media reported that the new contract will run until 2030.
