Egypt sends engineers, building equipment to rebuild Gaza

Egypt has sent engineers and building equipment to the Gaza Strip to begin reconstruction in the enclave following an 11-day conflict with Israel, state media reported. Over 250 people were killed in the Palestinian territories during the conflict. Egypt had mediated the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas that ended the conflict and also pledged $500 million to help rebuild Gaza.
