Egyptian Colonel killed in roadside explosion in Sinai

An Egyptian army officer, Colonel Rami Hassanein was killed along with one other soldier in a roadside explosion targeting his armoured vehicle on Saturday in Sinai province, officials said. Though no one has claimed the attack, ISIS affiliates in the region are believed to be responsible. Recently, a Brigadier General was shot dead outside his home in Cairo.
