Eiffel Tower female staff told to 'make themselves invisible' during BAPS visit, alleges union

Female employees at Eiffel Tower were asked to step out of sight and "make themselves invisible" during a visit by delegation of ​Hindu group BAPS, alleged the workers' union. "As the delegation passed through, women were ⁠asked to leave their workstations so that men could take their places," a representative said. The monument has been shut amid workers' protest.
