Eight flights diverted from Mumbai airport due to heavy rainfall

Eight flights were diverted from Mumbai to nearby airports on Friday due to heavy rainfall and low visibility conditions. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) notified all passengers of flight delays and provided refreshments to those waiting to board. Several parts of Mumbai, especially the eastern suburbs, received heavy rains on Friday evening.
