Either I join Barcelona or spend a year without playing: Cancelo on taking salary cut

Defender Joao Cancelo revealed he has taken a salary cut to join Barcelona this summer. "I told Deco...either I came here or...spend a year there without playing, still getting paid...I gave up part of my salary, but it was either sign for Barcelona or nothing. It's a very special club," he said. Cancelo will sign a three-year deal with Barcelona.
