Elavenil Valarivan creates history, becomes 1st Indian woman to win Asiad 10m air rifle silver

Shooter Elavenil Valarivan created history by becoming the first Indian woman to win an individual silver medal in 10m air rifle event at Asian Games. She shot a total of 252.4 to bag silver on Sunday. Earlier today, the 27-year-old also helped India win silver in the women’s 10m air rifle team event alongside Sonam Uttam Maskar and Vidarsa Vinod.
