Elderly passenger dies after tree falls on rickshaw in Pune

A 76-year-old woman died after a tree fell on her autorickshaw near Neelayam Talkies in Pune. The autorickshaw driver, Sanjay Avchare, who sustained minor injuries, stated that he initially hesitated to take the passenger due to heavy rains but relented, considering her age. Additional Municipal Commissioner Omprakash Diwate said officials visited the site after the incident during rainfall.
