Election poll puts Prez Lula behind rival with 1-point gap in Brazil

For the first time, a poll has put Brazilian right-wing Senator Flavio Bolsonaro ahead of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, with Bolsonaro at 46% and Lula at 45% in a potential presidential runoff. The Nexus poll surveyed 2,002 people from September 4 to 7. Brazil's first-round voting is scheduled for October 4, followed by a runoff on October 25.
