Electric car battery that can fully charge in 5 minutes produced for first time

Electric car batteries that can be fully charged in five minutes have been produced in a factory for the first time. The new lithium-ion batteries were developed by Israeli company StoreDot and manufactured by its strategic partner Eve Energy in China on a normal production line. StoreDot CEO Doron Myersdorf said the company is aiming for a 2025 mass roll-out.
