Electricity theft worth ₹1.3 crore by 4 mosques, 1 madrasa reported in Sambhal

After raids in UP's Sambhal to check irregularities in electricity distribution in two localities, power theft worth ₹1.3 crore by four mosques and a madrasa in the area over the last year has been unearthed, district administration said. It added that an illegal power house was also found on top floor of a mosque, supplying electricity to over 100 houses.
