Electronic Arts to buy 'Golf Clash' maker Playdemic for $1.4 bn

Video game giant Electronic Arts has announced that it will acquire Playdemic, the mobile games studio known for creating "Golf Clash". EA will be buying Playdemic from Warner Bros Games for $1.4 billion in an all-cash deal. Earlier in February, EA acquired Glu Mobile for $2.4 billion, marking one of the company's biggest purchases to date.
