Electronic goods become India's 3rd-largest export category
India's electronics exports surged more than 11-fold from ₹38,000 crore in 2014-15 to ₹4.24 lakh crore in 2025-26, making electronic goods the country’s third-largest export category. The electronics manufacturing ecosystem supports nearly 25 lakh jobs, with women accounting for around 30% of the workforce. India’s digital economy now contributes about 12-14% of the country’s GDP.
