Elephant spotted with tyre stuck around its neck in Assam

A wild elephant was spotted wandering through a tea garden in Assam's Numaligarh with a tractor tyre lodged around its neck. Local residents suspected that the tyre had got caught around its neck while the elephant was moving through the area. The Assam Forest Department's frontline team later managed to remove the tyre and free the elephant.
