Elon Musk a special government employee: White House

Elon Musk is serving under US President Donald Trump as a special government employee, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said. A second senior White House official said Musk is not receiving a government paycheck. A special government employee is "anyone who works, or is expected to work, for the government for 130 days or less in a 365-day period".
