Elon Musk fired top Twitter executives after acquiring the company to avoid hefty severance payouts, reports said. Musk terminated Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal and legal affairs and policy chief Vijaya Gadde, who stood to receive a total separation payout of $122 million. These executives were fired "for cause", which could prevent their unvested stock grants from vesting.
