Elon Musk recommends voting for Republicans in US mid-term elections

Elon Musk on Monday tweeted, "To independent-minded voters: Shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties, therefore I recommend voting for a Republican Congress, given that the Presidency is Democratic." He added, "Independent voters...actually decide who's in charge!" Several people criticised Musk, who earlier said, "For Twitter to deserve public trust, it must be politically neutral."
