Elon Musk’s social media platform X has launched a messaging app XChat for iPhone users. “Chat with anyone on X in a private, focused space built for conversation. No ads...Fully end-to-end encrypted,” the app description says. The app, positioned as a rival to WhatsApp, will offer private messaging, file sharing, and audio and video calls through X account login.
