Elon Musk to settle lawsuit over Twitter buyout for ₹14 crore

Elon Musk has agreed to settle a civil lawsuit by US' Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) over his Twitter buyout for $1.5 million (about ₹14.3 crore). The SEC alleged that Musk's failure to disclose his stake in the firm allowed him to buy shares worth $500 million at "artificially low prices". Musk had accused the SEC of targeting him.
