Emergency c-section saves baby after rare placental growth

A woman at 29 weeks of pregnancy underwent an emergency C-section at Yashoda Hospitals, Hyderabad, after reduced fetal movements raised concerns. Scans revealed a large placental chorioangioma, restricted fetal growth and poor blood flow. A premature baby girl weighing 930 grams was delivered. Both mother and baby were discharged in stable condition after treatment.
