Emergency declared in US' Utah as wildfire spreads to 143,000 acres
An emergency has been declared in US state of Utah as it battles one of the largest wildfires in the country. Nine active wildfires were burning across 143,000 acres as of Friday, Utah’s wildfire monitor said. Affected regions include Juab, Tooele, Iron, Salt Lake City, Utah county, and Millard. A fireworks ban has been imposed ahead of July 4 holiday.
