Emmanuel Macron becomes first European leader to meet Trump

French President Emmanuel Macron met US President Donald Trump on Monday to discuss ending the Ukraine war. Macron, the first European leader to visit Trump since his return to power, joined a 105-minute White House meeting, including a video call with other G7 leaders about Ukraine. Macron said his welcome was "very good, very friendly".
