'Emmerdale' actress Meg Johnson dies at 86, co-stars pay tribute

Soap opera stalwart Meg Johnson, who had played Pearl Ladderbanks in 'Emmerdale', died at the age of 86. "Meg had dementia for the last few years, but battled on personally and professionally regardless. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her," a statement read. Her co-stars Danny Miller, Lisa Riley, Samantha Giles and others paid tribute to Meg.
