Employee eats tarantula, another gets injection on butt at tech firm's 2017 retreat

US-based tech firm Plex's founders and employees have narrated to The Wall Street Journal how things went "wrong" during their 'Survivor' themed $500,000-retreat in 2017. The CEO got food poisoning at the beginning of the trip, while an employee ate a tarantula during the activities, terming it "horrible". Another employee recalled having to get an injection on their butt.
