Employee's email was compromised: Bank of Baroda after 1TB customer data leak

Bank of Baroda has responded after a hacker claimed to have leaked around 1TB of its customer and internal data on the dark web. "The incident involved compromise of an employee's email account, resulting in unauthorised access to certain data," the state-run bank said. It added that the core systems weren't accessed and continue to remain secure.
