Employees hold protest in Delhi demanding old pension scheme

Several central and state government employees gathered to protest at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on Thursday demanding restoration of the old pension scheme before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The employees sent a memorandum to PM Narendra Modi in this regard. The protest was organised by Joint Forum for Restoration of Old Pension Scheme (JFROPS), a platform of about 60 unions.
