Employer's duty to ensure employees treated with dignity: NHRC on Anna's death

Taking suo motu cognisance of 26-year-old EY employee Anna Sebastian Perayil's death, the NHRC said that it is the employer's duty to provide a safe, secure and positive environment to its employees. "They must ensure that everyone working with them is treated with dignity and fairness," NHRC said, and sought a detailed report from the Labour Ministry.
