Jawan killed-in-action as gunfight erupts in Udhampur 2 days after terror attack

An Army jawan was killed-in-action after an encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Udhampur on Thursday, according to Indian Army's White Knight Corps. The jawan had sustained grievous injuries during the initial exchange, it added. This comes two days after the terror attack in Pahalgam, in which at least 26 tourists were killed and several others injured.
