Encyclopedia Britannica seeks ₹8300 crore valuation in IPO: Report

Encyclopedia Britannica, publisher of books like Merriam-Webster dictionary, is seeking a valuation of $1 billion (₹8,300 crore) in its IPO, Bloomberg reported. The edtech company is working with advisors and may launch the IPO, for which it filed confidentially, as soon as June. The 250-year-old Encyclopedia Britannica claims to be the world’s oldest English-language general encyclopedia.
