End of meritocracy: Gopinath on absence of women at Trump-Xi talks

The IMF's ex-Deputy MD Gita Gopinath reacted to the absence of women leaders during the bilateral talks between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping. "A painting of the end of meritocracy: A meeting of…two largest economies and not one woman at the table," Gopinath said. Reportedly, only two women were present in Trump's 17-member business executive team.
