Endangered pink iguana hatchlings seen for first time in Galapagos
A hatchling of the endangered Galapagos pink land iguana has been seen for the first time on the Galapagos island. The iguana is considered critically endangered and as per estimates, just several hundred are left. The iguanas can stretch up to 18.5 inches in length. The pink iguana population is threatened by introduced species on the island.
