Energy drinks, treatment by fake doctors behind 8 deaths in 15 days in Haryana: Official

Consumption of energy drinks and treatment by unqualified medical practitioners caused at least eight deaths in 15 days in a village in Haryana's Palwal, Deputy Commissioner Harish Kumar Vashisht said. He added that FIRs have been registered against five fake doctors, and an investigation into the energy drinks consumed by the victims has begun. They died of liver-related complications.
